Mikan Die & Tool, located on Cleveland’s west side, has been manufacturing heading dies and tooling for the bolt-making industry since 2007. Owner Mike Pillar’s manufacturing roots can be traced back much further though, to his father’s start as a machinist in the 60’s. In 1988, Mike joined his father at a tool and die shop in Warrensville Heights, where the two worked alongside each other for nearly 20 years.
With his extensive experience and industry knowledge, Mike and a partner opened Mikan Die & Tool in 2007. From the beginning, strong customer relationships have been main focus. Many of Mikan’s original customer base still today rely on the quick delivery, high quality, and competitive prices provided by Mike Pillar and his experienced team.
